recently, I got engaged in a conversation about the world, the collapse of American commerce and I realized that enough of you are not seeing the opportunity that is in front of you.

So, as far as “outsourcing” goes, here is my opinion, the game has evolved and people / business need to be thinking differently, stop playing defense and get on the offense. it is about recognizing the seas of change are here and adapting, dont try to just batten down the hatch and hope the tidal wave doesnt take you out, its a tidal wave, build better boats, embrace the energy and move with it. it is far too large to try to move against..think HOW TO USE the energy. as a business person you need to look at the massive worldwide consumer base that you have now and engage it. we have gone from a base of 300 million customers to 6 billion!! this is a time of enormous opportunity, its the 21st century gold rush, land grab. STAND UP

AND…this is the key to worldwide peace and prosperity, this is the key to gaining deeper understanding of one another, KNOW your customers, meet them interact with them. as AMERICANS you have ridiculous advantages still. the internet revolution is allowing u the chance to speak globally. WAKE UP and breathe in the beauty of global commerce and conversation. multinational corporations are achieving record profits elsewhere in the world. put your ideas into action. Coca Cola is Africas largest employer, it is still 10 years before Africans and South Americans all have computers in their homes, 5 years before everyone in asia has computers in their homes. or at least comparable to the US and European standard. stop being conspiratorial and be entreprenuerial. STAND UP

be locally involved, be globally connected. learn with the world. you want to save the planet, educate the planet, but you cant do that from your couch with a beer in your hand and anonymous sideline commentary. get to know the people of EARTH are YOUR people WE are all HUMANS. work with them. they just want to enjoy prosperity in some way shape or form too. what was the great equalizer in the Cold War? economic prosperity. when Krushchev came to the US and saw every American with a TV in their house and a car in their driveway he wanted that for his people too. you got it good. if you were in zimbabwe right now and lost your job your family would starve and die. is that happening to you America? generally speaking? come on, so what you lost your house, BIG DEAL. it was a mistake you are allowed to make mistakes you are allowed to fail, learn and move on from it. you are going to make more. where else in the world do u get that chance. STAND UP

or you could always HOPE that the tidal wave doesnt wipe out your village. keep in mind 300million to 6billion is the largest tidal wave EVER. it is 20x larger then your village. let me put it into perspective if you are 6 feet tall how can u fight someone who is 120 feet tall? are you going to try to fist up and swing? how successful will that outcome be… STAND UP love the world.
