TREE CITY MINI GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP fbo: VSMO
“This is more than just a mini golf tournament, this is more like a mini golf festival.”
The Tree City Mini Golf Championship 2009 is being held on Saturday October 24 starting at 4pm, proceeds will be donated to the Vernon Skatepark Memorial Organization (VSMO). There will be prizes for the winners in the Mens, Womens, Kids 10 and under divisions and for the best costume (fun is encouraged). There is a $10 entry fee per participant, the entry fee ensures a game of mini golf and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a snowboard courtesy of VSMO. The winner of the snowboard will be announced at midnight.
In conjunction with the tournament, beginning at 8pm, on the big outdoor movie screen in Cobblestone Village there will be the US premiere of snowboard film titled “They Came From…” produced by Factor Films. “They Came From…” follows several riders on some of the most challenging mountains in Europe and part of the film is shot in 3D (bring your glasses)! NYs Finest will be open for snacks, drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, teas, or spirits to keep you warm and in the mood.
Immediately following the tourney, the film, and the winners announcements there will be an afterparty at NYs Finest featuring: DJs, dancing, and a special live performance from S.T.O.N.E. Boogy.
Tree City Mini Golf is located in Cobblestone Village at 200 Rt 94 (Vernon McAfee Road) in Vernon, NJ, directly across the highway from Mountain Creek Waterpark.
