A new store, a new tour, a new show, and a new single!
We have a very busy schedule this week and next at Breakneck Road. First, things first we are opening our first year round hip hop styled cafe at Mountain Creek’s Cobblestone Village. This will be part of the NY’s Finest family of shops. We are shooting to be open Friday, November 28th. Imagine the Caribou Coffee and the South Bronx circa 1984 and you have our newest store concept. Expect a lively themed atmosphere, ski racks, wifi access, table seating, food to grab and go, coffees, waters, nutrient drinks, good music and entertainment. That’s the winter side. When the snow goes away and the layers start to peel back, we convert from a snow ski hip hop theme to a summer ice cream theme.
Second, we are adding a third date to “The 3rd Rail” tour. Very excited about this development, we traveled last week to Beech Mountain in North Carolina, the highest point in the southeastern US and finalized the details of the event to be held on February 7th of this coming Winter. Much more to be announced in the coming weeks in terms of performers and other details. Expect much of the same pandemonium that will be hitting Mt Creek on January 10 and Tahoe on March 7.
Third, LAM & GRINS released the first single off their not yet titled late Spring scheduled release called “FIGHT TO THE TOP” to radio worldwide and has already gathered some significant steam as it is tied with Jurassic 5′s latest as the 5th most added record in the United States.
Last but, not least you can catch a live performance of “Fight to the Top” on December 4th at the Murray Theater in Salt Lake City as LAM & GRINS will be getting down with a live band. There is a rumor the second single tentatively titled “There You Go” will be performed that night as well.
In other developments: the Clay Street Supper Club and Cyphers will be returning for the final time next Friday on the corner of Clay and West Washington Street. There will be plenty of leftovers, coffee, and hot chocolate.
Also coming up, a good friend of the fam Pawl Iannachino is releasing his contribution towards the continuance of the energy that Barack Obama has inspired. That video titled “THINK BIG” should be available in the next week or so…
